Welcome to the website for our 2024 BWHSM Hotels Annual Convention. This year, we will be gathering October 21-23, in Charlotte, North Carolina, a city known for its Southern charm and modern sophistication, and for being home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. We invite you to join us for this energizing and informative event.
This year’s Annual Convention theme is Accelerate. Our industry is constantly evolving, as are the wants and needs of our guests, requiring us to Accelerate to be ready for all of the twists and turns. Accelerate issues a challenge to quickly adapt, be agile, and stay up-to-date with industry and technology changes. Accelerate is also a nod to the world-famous Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR Hall of Fame, which is where we will be gathering for our welcome reception.
At this year’s Annual Convention, you will hear the latest brand updates and gain valuable perspectives directly from your Board of Directors and senior leadership team regarding how we will Accelerate to stay ahead. There will be informative presentations, panel discussions and educational sessions on topics to help you increase revenue and successfully run your business in this fast-paced world. At our tradeshow – one of the largest in the industry – you can take advantage of exclusive deals. And we’ll start the acceleration at our welcome reception, as mentioned above, and end with our gala dinner, both of which provide valuable opportunities to reconnect with old friends and forge new relationships with Members across Districts. The Convention sessions will take place at the Charlotte Convention Center, and you have five exceptional hotels to choose from, all located within a few blocks of the convention center.
To kick off our Annual Convention, we will be hosting our highly rated Women and Diversity Forum and the popular golf outing, which benefits Best Western for a Better World®. Both events are scheduled for Sunday, October 20, so plan your travel accordingly if you’d like to attend.
